I mean I fight a culture war because I need to stop fascists. I fight a class war because I need to stop the rich people that pay for fascism so they can boil us all like soup on a burning planet for five pennies a share.
I don't really see these things as separate. I would fight fascists even if they were broke (many are) and I would fight rich people even if by some miracle they weren't fascists (which is really "fitting a camel through the eye of a needle" kinda shit.)
@anubis2814 Aye; if you want to know why I ultimately cancelled my Jacobin subscription (for just one example) - this is more or less it. Also I hate Ben Burgis; but I hate Ben Burgis because this sniveling about "identity politics is dividing us" and hanging out with fascists is his schtick.
@AnarchoNinaWrites I don't mind the fight with the broke facists as much since all you need to do to win is get them to realize that being a poor facist is like being a sheep cheering for the wolves to defeat the shepherds.
Interesting snippet: Eight days earlier, in an interview with some "Meet Kevin" stock exchange gambler clown, the highly praised, "visionary" Kathie Wood of Ark Invest was asked if she would be for "Trump or Biden" and her unsurprising answer was Trump, because to her, it just means business. I mean - sure - this fascist will surely make the rich richer, so that sort of makes sense - and surely won't if you aren't.
BTW:
That's on YouTube, easy enough to find and the quite blunt question "Trump or Biden?" is indexed *very* clearly on the video timeline - just in case anybody has any doubts about it. I won't link shit like that, so that needs to suffice.
Thanks everybody! Love you!
@AnarchoNinaWrites @mralancooper I do wish more media attention was about the connection between billionaires and fascism and less about bullshit
@andrewhinton @mralancooper Same my friend; very much the same.
That having been said, when you realize what for-profit media is, and who owns it, it's not that hard to figure out WHY.
