How come none of you told me how good Turn on the Bright Lights was? I've spent the last 22 years thinking Interpol are wankers because of how they dress, but this is surprisingly good.
I mean look, is it a little derivative of Joy Division, Ride, and The Cure? Yeah a bit; but also all of those are really good fucking bands so who care?
This sounds like the band folks wanted me to believe The Killers were (but aren't.)

When I learned the inspiration for the name “Joy Division” it became less punk.

@benda yeah I could believe that - but this is, so far, really good. Untitled hooked me about 8 chords in.
@AnarchoNinaWrites yeah i spent a lot of time with that album when it came out. have some funny teenage memories with that soundtrack that i wont waste anyone else's time with lol.
