i was excited when the federal government announced a strong and decisive COVID plan of having trucks with loudspeakers drive through American cities while blaring that Happy song from Pharrell.
but after learning that the trucks have been causing an inordinate number of pedestrian deaths, i am accepting that there may simply be no way to beat the pandemic.
