Y'all are absolutely batshit. Just so you know. There is no fucking multiverse reality where Pelosi and Obama want Trump to win. None. Zero. The fact that anyone would SAY that to me is a very good sign you've completely lost the plot.

I would still laugh at you, and I wouldn't respect that reply, but at least it wouldn't make me say "holy shit you folks are just as big a cult as Trumpism is" while questioning your grasp on reality. You could at least ARGUE the media is lying - "they're compromised?"

I think I caught the gist of it just fine, but you never know. Reading is fundamental and all that.
Politico is the official house journal for "centrist" and conservative Democrats spilling their guts through "unnamed sources". They may hate the Left with a passion, but their Capitol Hill reporting is still, at least for now, at least silver standard. I trust them a tad more than I trust the Bezos-Murdoch Times.
@AnthonyJK Yeah, I know they have sources inside the mainstream party. Liberals only ever say Politico is bad when they don't like the sound of what they're saying.

@AnarchoNinaWrites I don’t know about Obama but regarding Pelosi, the NYT was referring to (misquoting, perhaps deliberately) the same thing. They’re all taking their cues from the same place.

If what matters is voting against trump (because he's a fascist) AND voting democrats (because no other party has a chance), then what does it matter (to them*) if it's biden, harris, clinton or a pair of worn sneakers?

@bri_seven I honestly couldn't fucking tell you what was going on in that thread but I had to laugh when the implication was "the only reason to ask Joe Biden to step down is to let Trump win" and when I countered with "so you think Obama and Pelosi want to let Trump win" I got "they're compromised."
I'm not gonna try to parse that level of disconnect from reality.
