Folks, these are just the facts. There have been whole studies about this where decades after the fact folks have interviewed German Nazis and found that they felt no remorse for what they'd done, and didn't even see it was wrong.
Once you've hit the point that your only solution is kill, imprison, or enslave anyone who doesn't agree with you, you're very much beyond being talked off the ledge. That's the history. You don't HAVE to like it. It's how fascism works.
A whole fucking LOT of you are looking for solutions that allow you to "save nazis" or stop fascism without fighting and I am here to tell you history says they don't exist.
@AnarchoNinaWrites I've met people who were spiteful about the loss of fascism, and they were 100% like this.
Their only problem was that they lost.
In no way did they think it was because they were wrong. Just, unlucky? The other side overpowered them?
And they figured they'd win again later, with some sustained effort.
It cured me of any illusions that there's a slam dunk argument against fascism.
If even most of the country going "fuck off with that fascist shit" doesn't work, what will?
