No tho, this is me, this is what I do; I am in fact the lady who looks gift horses in the mouth because my life has seen a lotta gift horses that turned out to be some rotten bastard's way to take more from the very people supposedly receiving a gift.
I'll be happy to be wrong if that's how it shakes out; but I'm absolutely not gonna break out the party hats until I know why all the worst people on my TV are so excited. Maybe it's innocent/straightforward, I legit dunno. But I'm wary.

Edit: also to be clear, I should be clear that I'm not a campist, and I have no love for Assad who is certainly "a bad dude" by every metric I as an anarchist would use to define "bad dudes." But I'm feeling the bad kinda deja-vu watching Pig Empire media tell me "oh don't worry these guys are moderates now."
