@marvin Because I don't tell them to go fuck themselves nearly as often as I should. I guess also because I know a lot about fascism and I'm not saying "don't vote." I spend a lot of time talking to labor class "liberals" because I don't think they understand capitalism is foundational to liberalism and you can't be a capitalist without capital, which they do not have. I think they are curious and they want to build bridges. Like Nina builds bridges (although differently).
It is a good idea to see what it out there anyways for safety reasons and they might want to ensure people who can do vote/help their cause (how they do it might be questionable but the theory stands).
Basically, the same reason Nina does her thing
@Aviva_Gary I can see that rationale working for someone who is genuinely curious, but there are a lot of bad faith arguments being thrown around right now to justify 30k deaths and counting by an apartheid state. A state which is strongly supported by white house and Dem leadership.
30k deaths, which combined with other actions were taken to intl. court by South Africa under genocide law.
I cannot see those bad faith apologists as "curious" or "bridge builders". Quite the opposite, in fact.
